My name is HIROMI and I'm the owner and artisan of TELLER.
I was born and raised in Japan where my father ran a printing business.
Some of my earliest memories are of exploring his print shop, surrounded by mountains of paper and the scent of ink. It’s where I first became friends with color, found joy in painting and crafting, and learned lessons that still guide me today.
My father spared no effort in sharing his skills and knowledge, nurturing my creativity from a young age. He taught me how to make things from scratch, to work with what’s available, and to value hard work and precision. Those experiences became the foundation of who I am. Turning ideas into tangible pieces has always felt natural, and that same spirit continues to guide everything I create.
All TELLER are fully handcrafted using traditional methods, each one either custom-made or one-of-a-kind, from premium Italian, French, and American leathers. With a focus on quality and craftsmanship, I design each piece to balance simplicity with a sense of style — sometimes chic, sometimes rugged, sometimes playful — expressed through color, form, and detail.
I approach every piece as if I’m making it for someone special: crafted with care, built to last, and meant to accompany its owner for years to come.
