ANGUS - HORWEEN RUSSET horsehide (Hard Shell)

Crafted from heavy weight HORWEEN russet horsehide, tanned alongside their shell cordovan. This leather develops a rich patina with age and use.
 
After cutting, the leather is treated for workability, then glazed with leather cream and carefully polished to a smooth finish. The edges are beveled and hand-burnished.
 
Saddle-stitched with American waxed cord.
 
Finished with solid brass hardware.
