HAND-DYED eyeglasses case (WICKETT & CRAIG leather) - "PRINCE"

Made with vegetable tanned leather of WICKETT & CRAIG leather. This leather develops a rich patina with age.
 
The "PRINCE" case is hand-dyed with a custom in-house mix, made exclusively for this one-of-one piece - applied in five layers by hand. That name, that color — no backstory needed. A pinkish-dark purple with a marbled finish — bold, psychedelic, and unapologetically iconic.
 
Using extremely durable UV-resitant German thread, this piece is PRINCE" case is Hand cross-stitched. Beneath the stitching, the leather is hand-painted in black.
 
Designed to fit standard aviator frames. 
 
Brass hardware. 
 
All edges are beveled and burnished.
 
From cutting to completion, each step is done by hand at my workshop in Chicago.
