"THE LONG DESCENT" HORWEEN Horsehide Glasses Case (Extra Rigid & Hand-Dyed)

Made with 8oz HORWEEN horsehide, tanned alongside their shell cordovan. This leather develops a rich patina with age and use.
 
"THE LONG DESCENT", is and extra Rigid & hand-dyed HORWEEN horsehide glasses case, hand-dyed in a marbled green tone using a custom, in-house blend created exclusively for this piece. The natural grain of the leather remains visible and becomes part of the overall design, subtly blending into the surface and adding depth to the finish.Learn more about TELLER's hand-dyeing process here. 
 
Hand-cross-stitched with durable, UV-resistant German thread, with each side offering a distinct visual character. Beneath the stitching, the surface is hand-painted in gold. One side features a mix of Leaf and Orange threads, while the other side is divided -  red stitching on the upper section and purple on the lower.
 
Finished with durable antique brass hardware.
 
All edges are beveled and burnished by hand for a smooth, refined finish.
