Crafted from HORWEEN vegetable-tanned leather, Royal Blue Essex.
 
This leather was chosen for its vegetable-tanned character, which develops a rich patina over time, offering a balance of durability and flexibility that makes it ideal for an eyewear sleeve. Its timeless blue tone complements both casual and formal styles.
 
3"- 3-1/2" (W)  x 6-1/2"(L)
 
Each piece of leather is hand-cut, and the flesh side is treated with leather cream for a smooth, refined finish.
 
The edges are intentionally kept in blue to create an understated look and are carefully burnished for a smooth finish.
 
The sleeve is Cross-stitched with extremely durable, UV-resistant German thread in red, creating a subtle contrast against the deep blue leather.

The curved silhouette is designed to sit comfortably in the hand while allowing the sleeve to accommodate a variety of frame shapes with a compact profile.
 
The slim profile allows the sleeve to fit comfortably in most jacket and shirt pockets.
 
From cutting to stitching, every step is completed by hand in my Chicago workshop.
