COPENHAGEN - HORWEEN ESSEX Eyeglasses Sleeve

Crafted from HORWEEN vegetable-tanned leather, Royal Blue Essex.
 
This leather was chosen for its vegetable-tanned character, which develops a rich patina over time, offering a balance of durability and flexibility that makes it ideal for an eyewear sleeve. Its timeless blue tone complements both casual and formal styles.

Each piece of leather is hand-cut, and the flesh side is treated with leather cream for a smooth, refined finish.
 
The edges are intentionally kept in blue to create an understated look and are carefully burnished for a smooth finish.
 
The sleeve is Saddle-stitched with extremely durable, UV-resistant German thread in red, creating a subtle contrast against the deep blue leather.

From cutting to stitching, every step is completed by hand in my Chicago workshop.
