ABOUT TELLER
<Is TELLER a one-person studio?>
Yes. TELLER is a one-person studio. From design and craftsmanship to product photography, website development, correspondence, and order fulfillment, every aspect of the studio is handled by me. Everything you see on this website is created and maintained by me personally.
<Why isn't TELLER active on social media?>
While social media can be a valuable tool for sharing work, discovering new opportunities, and connecting with new people, creating one-of-one and custom pieces requires significant time and attention. As a one-person studio, I have found that maintaining a consistent social media presence can be challenging.
I prefer to devote my time to the creative process, the personal attention each piece receives, and building meaningful connections with those who discover TELLER.
I share updates through the Maker’s Note page, where I document personal stories, new pieces, materials, and processes behind my work.
<Where are TELLER pieces made?>
TELLER pieces are designed and handcrafted in Chicago, Illinois. Each piece is handcrafted in my studio, from selecting materials and cutting leather to stitching, finishing, and final inspection.
<Do you offer wholesale?>
Yes, I offer wholesale opportunities for select retailers featuring pieces from my Made-to-Order collection (SILVERCLAW).
For smaller matching orders for teams, events, or special occasions, please visit this page (and select MSC) and contact me through the inquiry form.
Since SILVERCLAW piece is handcrafted individually by one person, I do not offer mass production and carefully consider partnerships that align with the craftsmanship, values, and approach behind the work.
While one-of-one and highly customized pieces are often too labor-intensive for wholesale, I love collaborating with shops and brands who share the same values of quality and craftsmanship. Special editions or exclusive pieces may also be considered when they are consistent with the spirit of TELLER.

<Who is behind SILVERCLAW?>
SILVERCLAW is another creative expression of my work. While TELLER focuses on one-of-one and custom pieces, SILVERCLAW explores established designs that allow me to share timeless designed pieces while maintaining the same attention to craftsmanship, materials, and detail.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
<Product sizes>
Listed dimensions are the outer sizes of the products unless otherwise noted.
<Product colors>
The photos shown are of the actual item you will receive. I do my best to capture each piece’s colors as accurately as possible; however, please keep in mind that screen settings and lighting conditions can affect how colors appear. This is especially true with Shell Cordovan, whose unique reflective surface naturally changes in appearance depending on the light and viewing angle. The subtle shifts in color and depth are part of what makes this leather special.
<Natural variations>
Natural markings such as scars, wrinkles, and subtle variations may be present in the leather and are intentionally preserved as a way of honoring the material’s natural character.
Made-to-order pieces:
I aim for accurate color representation, but slight differences can occur due to natural variations in the leather. No two hides are exactly alike.
Hand-dyed pieces:
Each color is custom-mixed by feel — no formulas, no instructions — to make every hand-dyed piece truly one of a kind. For color reproduction requests, I can try to create a similar tone, but recreating exact colors from the past is not possible. Every mix is a one-time thing.
<Product repair availability>
Product repair is only available for TELLER products. The repair cost is depending on the repair content.
LEATHER SELECTION
SHOPPING INFORMATION
<Turnaround time>
Lead times for made-to-order pieces are listed on their respective product pages. Small custom items are typically completed within a few days–2 weeks, while larger pieces may require additional time.
Ready-to-Wear items are generally dispatched within 1-3 days of purchase. Please note that all lead times are estimates and may vary based on seasonal demand and material availability.
If you have a specific deadline or would like to discuss an order before purchasing, please do not hesitate to contact me.
<Order cancellation>
Any READY TO WEAR may be cancelled within two hours of placing it as long as an order has not been processed yet. Any custom order products cannot be canceled or modified due to the nature of the crafting process. Therefore, please feel free to email me if you have any questions before placing an order.
If you receive the wrong or defective product, TELLER will accept your return and refund the full cost of the product as well as the return shipping cost. This does not apply to leather colors and texture since each hide will not be exactly the same.
<Which payment methods do you accept?>
TELLER accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. No Money Order or check payments.
<Can my order be fulfilled faster than the above approximations (rushed)?>
Since all TELLER products are made to order and due to the nature of a one-woman operation, rushing the production time to fulfill your order is very limited. Therefore, I encourage you to order ahead if you'd like to ready your order by a specific date.

<Free shipping>
Complimentary shipping is available for qualifying orders.
United States
Free USPS Ground Advantage shipping on orders of $250 USD or more.
International
Free USPS First-Class International shipping on Orders of $500 USD onr more to eligible destinations.
If complimentary shipping is unavailable for your location due to unusually high shipping costs, please feel free to contact me before placing your order. I'll always do my best to find a fair shipping solution whenever possible.
< How long will it take to receive my order/ How can I track my order?>
TELLER products are shipped via USPS ground advantage that delivers in 3-5 business days for domestic orders, and via USPS priority International that delivers in 6 - 14 business days for international orders. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the season and destination country.
TELLER cannot be held responsible for items that are damaged, lost, stolen, delivered to an incorrect address, or delayed during transit by third-party shipping carriers. For additional security, Signature Confirmation and insurance are available upon request.
For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges required by their country. These fees are determined by local customs authorities and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.
<Where do you ship to?>
TELLER products are shipped worldwide. Please feel free to contact me if you have question about overseas purchasing.
Please contact me before placing your order if you prefer another USPS shipping methods or another shipping carriers.

<Do you accept custom orders?>

<How long does a custom piece take?>
The time required for a custom piece depends on the design, materials, and complexity of the project. Since each piece is individually designed and handcrafted, the timeline can vary. After discussing your ideas and details, I will provide an estimated completion timeline before beginning the work.
RETURN POLICY
All TELLER products are final. Therefore, please feel free to email me if you have any questions before placing an order.

TELLER take your privacy seriously. The information you give TELLER is only used to complete your order and will not be distributed, sold or leased to anyone under any circumstances.
