THE ROAD TO HANA - HARD SHELL & HAND-DYED & DUALTONE (HORWEEN horsehide)
Made with 7oz HORWEEN horsehide, tanned alongside their shell cordovan. This leather develops a rich patina with age and use.
The "ROAD TO HANA" case is hand-dyed using a custom, in-house blend created exclusively for this piece. Preserved the natural leather grain, allowing the distinctive pattern and character of this specific leather to shine through. Learn more about TELLER's hand-dyeing process here.
This case showcases unique patterns that evokes the lush forests of Hawaii. The four colors of American polished cotton cords used in the hand cross-stitching - two on each side. Each cord color reflects elements of the landscape - the winding trails, golden shores, and open skies of the islands - infusing the piece with the spirit of adventure and wanderlust.
