THE LIFE AQUATIC - EXTRA-RIGID SHELL & HAND-DYED & DUALTONE (HORWEEN horsehide)

Made with 8oz HORWEEN horsehide, tanned alongside their shell cordovan. This leather develops a rich patina with age and use.
 
The "THE LIFE AQUATIC" is a dark ocean green rigid case, hand-dyed using a custom, in-house blend created exclusively for this piece. Learn more about TELLER's hand-dyeing process here.
 
This case is hand-cross-stitched with four colors of American polished cotton cord — two on each side. Beneath the threadwork, the edges are painted in yellow and dark red. Crafted with intention, every detail is open to your interpretation.
 
Brass hardware. 
 
All edges are beveled and burnished.
