Named after the historic Kyoto temple known for its Seven Wonders, the "知恩院 (CHION-IN) 09.25.11." case is hand-dyed with a custom in-house blend. This piece draws from the quiet grandeur of the temple itself. Layers of dark green, blue, and reddish brown flow seamlessly across the surface — a subtle gradation built by hand with no hard lines. 
   
Hand cross-stitched on both sides with durable red UV-resistant German threads. Beneath the threads, a hand-painted in black and the edge of the lid is red.

All edges are beveled and burnished.
 
From cutting to completion, each step is done by hand at my workshop in Los Angeles.
