Though my chosen methods of craftsmanship are time-consuming and physically demanding, I put more care and thought into each piece because of that.  I'm grateful to have the opportunity to meet people through my passion and that they own my creations as their personal accessories to be a small part of their lives.  I strive to make each piece as if made for my special someone.  Because my creations belong to someone matters to me and ensuring that those creations are well-made and accompany their owners for many years is very important for me.

I grew up in Japan where my father worked out of the family home as a printer.  Some of my oldest memories include exploring his printing shop where I grew up with mountains of paper and the smell of ink.  It's also where I first became friends with colors and found joy in painting and crafting and learned some of the most important lessons in my life.

No matter how young I was, my father always spared no effort to impart his skills and knowledge to help cultivate my creativity.  He showed me how to make things from scratch by using available tools and materials, to improvise and taught me the importance of working hard and the value of doing things with integrity and precision.  As a result of having those experiences from a very young age, turning what I have in mind into reality with different mediums has been always natural to me and they immensely developed the foundation of who I am.
