HORWEEN Russet Horsehide HARD SHELL eyeglasses case

ANGUS is a HARD SHELL eyeglasses case made out of heavy-weight HORWEEN russet horsehide. 

​

The leather piece is glazed on its surface by applying leather cream.  Using extremely durable UV resistant waxed thread, this case is hand-stitched and all edges are carefully burnished by hand.  This dense russet color leather develops a rich patina with age. 

 

From cutting to stitching, each process is done by hand at my workshop in Chicago.

HORWEEN horsehide is tanned alongside their world-famous SHELL CORDOVAN (click here to check out shell cordovan products).

 

ANGUS case is made to order (lead time 1-2 weeks).
